Results Switzerland 1st Quarter 2020

Expectation by Industry

Expectations for the first quarter of 2020 are more optimistic than those for the third quarter of 2019, with the Transportation and Storage sector in particular, which ranked 50th in the last analysis. While the Trade sector has now been able to move slightly into a mostly positive area, the downward trend in the equally large Manufactured Goods sector is continuing again this quarter, putting it in last place. The downward trend in Economic Services has also continued since the middle of last year. The Construction Industry sector, on the other hand, was able to stabilize slightly for the first time in over a year and is now in a balanced area.

After a slump in the third quarter, Financial and Insurance Services have recovered to a strong level of 90. Unfortunately, the Information and Communication industry lost some ground and dropped from the top to 82. Health and Social Work services remain consistently in top positions.
