Dr. Candace S. Cheng
President
Dr. Candace Cheng studied economics and international marketing at the University of California at Berkeley and Boston University, earning her doctoral degree from the University of St. Gallen. She held various marketing and branding positions at Swiss Re, UBS and Mattel in Switzerland and Los Angeles. In her private time, she enjoys time with her family, travelling, art and singing.
Dr. Hermann J. Stern

Dr. Hermann Josef Stern is Obermatt's Chairman of the Board, an INSEAD IN-Board alumnus, and a lecturer at the University of St. Gallen Board School. He holds a doctorate in ethics from the HSG and has worked at Compaq (HP), Swisscom, and UPAQ. Hermann enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons and pursuing interests such as skiing, sailing, yoga, martial arts, meditation, and nature.
