Expectation by Industry

As in the first quarter of 2019, the Real Estate and Housing sector is in the top position and was thus able to recover after a slightly weaker summer. Information and Communication has also remained consistently among the top 3 sectors for over a year. Also striking is the constant increase in the Health and Social Work sector for over a year.

At the other end of the scale, the comparatively large sectors of Trade and Manufactured Goods, as well as Agriculture and Transportation and Storage, remain equally constant.

Overall, however, there is little movement in terms of sectors compared with our last survey.

The industry positions are interpreted as follows: The value indicates where this industry is in terms of the answers from all industries. A value above 50 means an overall positive rating of the industry. The higher the value, the more positive the industry was assessed.
